3 New Odd Jobs (Make an Honest Living) GTA Online Update

GTA Online has just added three fresh Odd Jobs, giving players a few new ways to earn cash without going full criminal. You can now sign up as a firefighter with the Los Santos Fire Department, work as a forklift operator loading Alpha Mail delivery vans, or take on a proper old-school paper round delivering the Los Santos Meteor.

To make things even better, all Odd Jobs, including these new ones, are paying out double rewards until 4 February. If you’re still running your underground businesses, there’s good news there too: Cocaine Production Speed is doubled this week. On top of that, the Community Race Series is offering 2X GTA$ and RP, along with a few other boosted bonuses.

There’s also something lined up for Valentine’s Day. A new mode called Deadline Duet is on the way, where pairs can team up and blast rival teams to bits. Next week will also see the return of the Pfister Astrale (Sports Classic), bringing a bit of retro style back onto the streets of Los Santos.

Rockstar has also rolled out a batch of bug fixes and gameplay improvements. One of the main updates is expanded Wanted Level options in the Mission Creator, giving players more freedom to build missions in different GTA styles.

Double Rewards for All Odd Jobs

Alongside the new job roles, all other legal Odd Jobs are also paying out 2X GTA$ and RP this week, so there are plenty of honest ways to bring in some extra cash.

That includes medical courier runs for QuickiePharm, Safeguard Deliveries for Bobcat Security and Gruppe Sechs, and food drop-offs for Pizza This…

If you’re keen to dive into the gig-style side of Los Santos, now’s a good time to gear up. The Brute Stockade and the Bobcat Security Stockade (Commercial) are both available at 30% off this week, making it cheaper to get started with security and delivery work.

There are a few extra bonuses up for grabs too. Complete five Pizza This… deliveries and you’ll unlock the Pizza This… Tee as a reward, along with a boosted Weekly Challenge bonus of GTA$300,000, three times the usual amount.

To make things even easier, the Pegassi Pizza Boy motorcycle is available for free this week from Southern San Andreas Super Autos, so you can get straight to work without spending a penny.

Taxi Work Bonuses

If you know the streets of Los Santos like the back of your hand, Taxi Work is paying extra this week. Pick up fares, drive them safely to their destinations, and keep your times tight to make the most of the bonus: all taxi jobs are paying 2X GTA$ right now.

There’s also a limited-time clothing reward up for grabs. Complete five different types of Odd Jobs this week and you’ll receive the Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar Shirt, delivered within 72 hours after you finish the requirement.

If you want to run fares in your own cab, you can join the fleet by buying the Vapid Taxi (Service) from Warstock Cache & Carry, currently available with a 30% discount.

Boosted Cocaine Production Speed and Discounts

For players sticking to the less-than-legal side of business, cocaine operations are running faster than usual this week with doubled production speed. It’s a handy boost for keeping stock moving and profits flowing from your lockups.

Mansion owners can push output even further by switching on the Business Production Boost through the Mansion’s AI Assistant, giving your operation an extra kick.

If you’re looking to get started, or expand: Cocaine Lockup properties and their upgrades are heavily reduced, with a sizeable 40% off across the board this week, making it one of the cheapest times to invest.

Double Rewards on the Community Race Series

If you’re into custom tracks and wild stunt racing, the Community Race Series is paying out 2X GTA$ and RP this week. Expect tricky layouts, big jumps, and plenty of chances to ruin your rivals’ chances at a podium finish. One featured event is !BMX Summer Race 2025 (6) by Vinewoodonfire, a parkour-style cycling track that really tests your bike control and timing.

There’s also boosted pay for smaller-scale racing. RC Time Trials are dishing out 2X GTA$ and RP as well, letting you earn solid rewards while racing compact remote-controlled vehicles through tight and technical courses. It’s quick, chaotic, and well worth a few runs while the bonus is live.

GTA Online: Three New Odd Jobs

Now Let’s Dive Into the Three Major New Odd Jobs – GTA Online has added three brand-new ways to earn cash and have fun across Los Santos:

1. GTA Online: Firefighter

Let’s talk about Firefighter. Players can now step into the role of a firefighter in GTA Online, taking on emergency callouts across the city. Jobs include putting out active fires, dealing with dangerous gas leaks, and even rescuing stranded cats and civilians. Dispatch calls pop up regularly, and the faster you respond and complete the objective, the bigger the payout at the end.

For the launch week, all firefighter dispatch work is paying 2X GTA$ and RP, making it a solid way to earn while doing something a bit different from the usual criminal grind. It’s a more mission-focused activity, with quick-response tasks that reward efficiency and clean execution.

To get started, head over to the fire station in El Burro and pick up a job there, or simply enter a Fire Truck that you own and follow the on-screen prompt to begin dispatch duties straight away. Players who really commit to the role can also unlock a special cosmetic reward, The Unwavering Outfit, by successfully completing 25 dispatch missions.

If you don’t already own one, the MTL Fire Truck (Emergency) is currently available with a 30% discount from Warstock, making this a good week to add it to your vehicle collection and jump into the new firefighter content properly.

2. GTA Online: Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator is the second in this event. Alpha Mail is looking for extra hands at their warehouse near LSIA, and players can now jump in as a forklift operator to help keep deliveries moving.

The job is simple but hands-on, pick up pallets with the forklift and place them onto the conveyor belt as quickly and cleanly as you can to complete each shift.

It’s a nice change of pace from the usual chaos around Los Santos, and for this week only, all forklift work is paying out 2X GTA$ and RP, making it well worth clocking in for a few runs.

To get started, head over to the Alpha Mail warehouse near LSIA and accept the job prompt on site. The more loads you complete, the closer you get to an extra reward, finish five loading shifts and you’ll unlock The Forklift Certified Outfit to show off your warehouse skills in proper style.

3. GTA Online: Paper Route

The last event is Paper Route. Print newspapers might be fading in most big American cities, but in Los Santos they’re still going strong. Demand is high enough that the Los Santos Meteor is now hiring extra help to get papers out to readers across the city.

Players can take on a paper round job by visiting the Meteor office in Strawberry and signing up on site. From there, you’ll be sent out to deliver fresh copies to the correct drop points, following the marked route and completing deliveries as efficiently as possible.

It’s a relaxed, straightforward activity compared to most GTA Online work, and for this week it’s paying 2X GTA$ and RP, making it a tidy little earner if you fancy something different from heists and shootouts.
