It is still early days in 2026, so we haven’t seen a massive new DLC drop this specific calendar year just yet. However, the streets of Los Santos are busy with the “drip-feed” content from the major Money Fronts / Mansion update that landed just before the holidays in late 2025.
Here is everything new that has happened in GTA Online so far in January 2026.
The Latest Weekly Update (15 January)
As of this week, Rockstar has introduced a new combat-focused mode and refreshed the bonuses in Grand Theft Auto V.
- New Mode: Mansion Raid: This is the headline addition for the week. It is a new Adversary Mode where teams infiltrate a luxury property to crack a vault while defenders try to stop them. It’s currently paying out 2X GTA$ and RP.
- Bonus: Winning a round drops a tidy GTA$200,000 bonus into your Maze Bank account.
- Nightclub Bonuses: If you own a Nightclub, it’s a good week to log in. Daily Income is doubled, and Business Battles are paying out 4X GTA$ and RP.
- Podium Vehicle: The Declasse Impaler LX.
- Prize Ride: The Grotti Itali GTO (Place Top 2 in LS Car Meet Series for 4 days in a row).
Early January Events (8 January)
The first full week of the year was focused on legitimate “front” businesses, continuing the theme from the December update.
- Free Property: Players were able to claim a Hands On Car Wash property for free from Maze Bank Foreclosures. This serves as a “Money Front” to launder cash from illicit activities.
- 3X Rewards: Triple money was available on “Legal Front” activities (like the Car Wash and Helicopter Tours).
Current Major DLC Context: “Money Fronts” & Mansions
Since we are in January, the “new” content you are seeing is part of the Title Update 1.72 (released Dec 2025). If you haven’t played since Christmas, this is effectively the “new” content for early 2026:
- Ownable Mansions: You can finally purchase luxury mansions via the new “Prix Luxury Real Estate” website. These come with AI Assistants (Angel, Haviland, or OG).
- New Business Type: “Money Fronts” (Laundering businesses).
- New Missions: The “KnoWay Out” story strand featuring Avi Schwartzman.
- New Vehicles: The Progen Luiva and Pfister X-treme are now available for general purchase after being GTA+ exclusives in December.
